Where does what it knows come from?
Everything the model learns from: web pages, books, code, documentation, conversations. It is collected, cleaned and filtered before training.

The misunderstanding
When I ask it something, it looks it up on the internet. What it knows comes from what it read up to a cutoff date. Searching the web is something else: a tool the harness may offer it, or not.
What changes in practice
For recent topics, or anything internal to your organization, don't trust what it "knows": give it the source.
