Certified Scrum Developer
The CSD certification is an Official Certification from the Scrum Alliance. The Certified Scrum Developer program focuses on giving team members the agile engineering skills they need to create working software.
Certified Scrum Developer Defined
A Certified Scrum Developer has demonstrated through a combination of formal training and a CSD assessment that he or she has a working understanding of Scrum principles and has learned specialized agile engineering skills.
Certification Requirements
At least five days of formal training are required to earn a Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) credential. CSD applicants must also demonstrate an understanding of agile engineering practices by taking and passing a formal CSD assessment.
- At least three days must be technical training through one or more of the CSD-eligible courses
- At least one of the five days must be dedicated to the study of Scrum in a CSD-eligible course
- The fifth day is an elective. You can choose from among the CSD-eligible courses to develop the skills you feel would benefit you the most in your role

The candidate should apply through an assesment. In the case of passing it, he should pay USD 150.- to the Scrum Alliance that will grant him the CSD certification and SA membership for 2 years.
